Atlanta is the largest city and metro area not only in Georgia, but from North Carolina to Miami Florida.  Atlanta is the fastest growing metro area in the United States.  It is also the home of the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Braves.  It is definitely an up and coming city and there is a lot of wealth and prosperity there.  It was also the home of one of the best football star quarterbacks, Michael Vick, whom is now in jail for dog fighting and extreme cruelty to animals.  That was quite a media circus, but it has since calmed down and life and sports will go on without the Vick.

Recently a tornado went through downtown Atlanta and wrecked havoc on a few buildings.  Being that many events were occurring during this storm things could have been a lot worse, but fortunately they weren’t.  But there is another kind of storm brewing – a good storm – the Atlanta Craigslist.  Yes, this free internet advertising has quickly and quietly taken a huge chunk out of paid advertising by the local newspaper companies.  This is good as it has made it so that the average consumer can advertise anything they want (as long as it is legal and within Craigslist guidelines) and for free – except for job listings as they are for a fee currently (but still far cheaper than the local newspaper want ads)!

The best feature, in my opinion, of the Atlanta Craigslist is the autos for sale section.  People can list their cars just like in the newspaper classifieds, but with unlimited words and pictures.  Just try and call your local newspaper for a price on a huge display add with unlimited pictures and words and see what they quote you - you will probably pass out from the large price - but on Craigslist it won't cost you a dime!  And the people whom are contacting you are dead serious buyers because they have seen your pictures and read your description and you have exactly what they want.  Plus there are great deals to be had here on cars, trucks, SUV's - even fishing boats and motors.

Estate sale items and more can be found – even tickets for front row seats to hot shows, concerts, sports games, etc…  You can meet others with similar interests and even find forums and such where you can discuss anything from politics like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to the history of Atlanta and baseball great Hank Aaron – whom will always be the greatest homerun king in my book as he didn’t cheat and use steroids or other enhancement drugs like Bonds and others.  There is virtually no limit to what one can find under Craigslist Atlanta.  From ghost hunters to gun and sword collectors to Civil War aficionados and more.   There is literally no limit to what people post about in the Atlanta Georgia version of Craigs List.

You can search for a new part time job or even a new career.  There are all kinds of services posted daily from home repair and computer work to automotive and even sexual ones.  Do you know how to repair a car or truck and want some extra cash?  Post your own automotive services ad on Craigslist.  There is even a Best of Craigslist area which shows some of the best and most popular postings on all of Craigslist.  These are items that thousands or even millions of Craigslist users have voted on and made stand out as the best of the postings on Craigslist.  There is literally no end to what one can find, buy, barter, etc… on Craigs List Atlanta. 

You can purchase a computer (desktop or notebook), statues, framed pictures (even limited edition ones) to hang in your living room, chairs, art easels, car parts, even flowers and gardening tools.  There are even qualified home repair technicians, auto mechanics, etc… that do house calls at incredibly low bargain prices.  You can even post for items you would like and that are not currently available – I’ve used this feature myself quite often and found some very hard to get or even rare items like collectible books and such.  Just post your desire and wait - it’s amazing how many people you can quickly find that have or can get what ever it is your after.
